MSMEs eyes Php1M sales in CAPIZtahan 2018

At least 50 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from handicrafts, processed food, and horticulture sectors are joining the annual Capiztahan Agro-Industrial Trade Fair at the Capiz Provincial Park on April 13-15, 2018.

The trade fair is part of the three-day festival jointly organized by the Capiz Provincial Government, Provincial MSME Development Council, Capiz MSME Center, Inc., DTI Capiz Provincial Office and Capiz Provincial Agriculturist Office.

The fair will promote the culture and bounty of the Province of Capiz, as it likewise encourages local MSMEs (from Roxas City and 16 towns) to continue to innovate, achieve market acceptance and promote the province through its sumptuously prepared food, intricately crafted handicrafts, and horticulture speaking of its richness and colorful tradition.

These exhibitors have been participating in the annual provincial fairs organized by DTI Capiz and have gained wider market reach over the years.  As Director Pollentes said, “This is an opportunity to better market your products and create higher demand.”

A one million target sales is projected for the DTI Capiz-assisted MSMEs in this year’s three-day fair with the continuous product development assistance provided by the agency.
