DTI-Guimaras joined the Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) in Nueva Valencia and
Sibunag towns, recently. The activity was conducted on January 10 and 11, 2017,
respectively. The BOSS is a venue where clients can renew their business permits
in a faster and easier way.

DTI conducts information drive to 4Ps beneficiaries
The DTI-Guimaras conducted lectures on Business
Name Registration and other Fair Trade Laws to Pampatawid Pamilyang Pilipino
Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in the municipality of Nueva Valencia. The activity
was in collaboration with the DSWD as their program component.
DTI, DILG monitor BPLS compliance in LGUs
The DTI-Guimaras in coordination with the DILG monitored
the compliance of Business Permit and Licensing System (BPLS) on January 20,
2017 in Jordan and Buenavista towns, as mandated by the program.
DTI, Nueva Valencia LGU facilitate issuance of business permits
The DTI-Guimaras, in collaboration with
the Nueva Valencia Tourism Inspectorate Team, conducted on-site visits in beaches
and resorts in the municipality to facilitate the issuance of business permits
this January 2017.

appointed and sworn in as Assistant Secretary for the Consumer Protection Group
of the DTI, under the administration of Pres. Rodrigo R. Duterte. Atty. Ernesto
V. Perez took his oath of office before DTI Secretary Ramon M. Lopez last
December 22, 2016.
