The DTI-Guimaras conducted lectures on Business
Name Registration and other Fair Trade Laws to Pampatawid Pamilyang Pilipino
Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in the municipality of Nueva Valencia. The activity
was in collaboration with the DSWD as their program component.
Melecia Pait, DTI Trade and Industry Development
Specialist, gave a lecture on Business Name Registration and other Fair Trade
Laws. Other topics discussed were Product Standards, Labelling, how to join
sales promotion and filing consumer complaints.
The activity was attended by approximately
2,000 members/beneficiaries.
