identify programs and activities aimed at promoting consumer awareness in the
province. Presently, there are 13 consumer organizations assisted by DTI Guimaras.

become more protected,” said DTI Guimaras Information Officer Designate Melecia
U. Pait.
The
group agreed to conduct more information drives in the barangays.
The
consumer organizations believe that “every retailer can also be a vigilant consumer,”
Pait added..
Other
activities lined-up for the year are attendance to World Consumer Rights Day, Consumer
Welfare Month and Pamaskong Diskwento Caravan.
The members are likewise encouraged to observe the conduct of weighing
