DTI Antique unveils more Negosyo Centers

The DTI Antique Provincial Office has now three Negosyo Centers (NC) to serve its constituents as it opened two additional centers in the municipalities of Valderrama and Tibiao on Friday, October 28, 2016.

Tibiao Mayor Gil B. Bandoja and DTI Industry Development Division Chief Ken Queenie Cuñada lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony during the launching of the Negosyo Center in Tibiao, Antique.

The NC advocates livelihood creation by strengthening aspiring and existing entrepreneurs. The Center will help improve the business climate and promote economic development as envisioned, bringing the government services closer to MSMEs.

The NC will serve as a venue for seminars or trainings in order to provide assistance for those who want to start a business, and for those who have already existing business but needing more techniques to further enhance their products.

The other functions of the Negosyo Center include Business Registration Assistance; Business Advisory Services; Business Information and Advocacy; and Monitoring and evaluation, among others.

Early this year, DTI Antique established its first NC in San Jose at the second floor of Business Park Building. Region VI has now 21 Negosyo Centers. It targets to put up 28 Centers before the end of 2016.
