7/11 employees undergo orientation on CWDs

7-Eleven employees familiarize themselves on the significance of consumer welfare desks put up in their chain of stores

Shop managers, supervisors, and frontline staffs of one of the fastest growing chain of convenience stores in the country were acquainted on the significance and the setting up of consumer welfare desks (CWDs) to immediately address the concerns of its customers.

A total of 45 managers, supervisors, and front desk officers coming from all 7-Eleven branches in Western Visayas, including Bacolod City in Negros Island Region, attended the orientation seminar on setting up CWDs at Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center on March 9, 2017.

The DTI encourage business firms to develop a comprehensive complaints-handling program like the CWD to enable them to operate quickly and inexpensively, as well as promote consumer patronage.
