The
Department of Trae and Industry (DTI) VI has announced that starting February
1, 2016 the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) will accept
renewal of applications for fiscal year 2016-2017.
Republic
Act 4566, the Contractor’s License Law, provides that no contractor (including
sub-contractor and specialty contractor) shall engage in the business of
contracting without first having secured a PCAB license to conduct business.
A
PCAB-licensed contractor ensures the safety of the public on construction
projects.
Under
Board Resolution No. 376, series of 2014, contractors may renew their licenses
based on the following schedule:

Renewal
of application may be filed at the PCAB Office or at the nearest DTI Regional/

The PCAB is an
attached agency of the DTI.
