Selected MSMEs in the Province of Capiz underwent entrepreneurship seminar, particularly on entrepreneurial mind-setting and marketing, following the kick off of the Kapatid Mentor Me (KMME) program in Roxas City on May 23.
Competent and seasoned resource speakers, Glenn Baticados and Victor Madlangbayan were invited to present Modules 1: Entrepreneurial Mindsetting and Values Formation and 2: Marketing, respectively.
Paul Anthony De Guzman from the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE) represented Joey A. Concepcion, Presidential Consultant for Entrepreneurship and Founding Trustee of the PCE.
The KMME aims to help existing micro and small enterprises scale up their businesses by equipping them with the proper mindset and values, and practical knowledge of functional areas through lecture and mentoring sessions delivered by business owners and/or practitioners.
Successful CapizeƱo entrepreneurs, Mr. Leny Albert Apaitan of Black and White Supermart and Mr. Mark Anthony Ortiz of Anchor Development Corporation also shared their stories of hardships and sweet victories to inspire neophytes in the business field.
One-on-one business consultation was likewise facilitated after the presentations.
DTI Capiz Provincial Office has 25 Mentees enrolled in the program who will undergo the 11-module entrepreneurial training in the succeeding weeks.
