The DTI Guimaras Provincial Office conducted
Balik Eskwela (in-store promo) on May 22 to June 2, 2017. The activity, which encourages retail stores
and micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs)
to partner with DTI, aims to
offer 5percent to 15 percent discounts on school needs, medicines, selected electrical
items, among others, in line with the opening of classes in June.
This year, five retail stores and two MSMEs
joined the activity.
The retail stores were Gaitan Island
Supermart, 2K Mart, Kay and Kim Marketing, Aimer Grocery and School Supplies for
school needs, Galtz Pharmacy for medicines and Kay and Kim Marketing for selected
electrical items.
On the other hand, Liberty Fruits Stand
and McNester Food Products sold ready to drink juices and foods to buyers. A total
of P254,500.00 was generated in sales and
