As part of the Department of Trade and
Industry (DTI) – Guimaras Provincial Office efforts in facilitating access to
financial support for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), a financing
forum was organized at Zemkamps Chalet, San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras on June 8.
Representatives from three financial
institutions: Land Bank of the Philippines, Development Bank of the
Philippines, and the Small Business Corporation were invited to present their
respective company’s financial product lines.
There were 20 MSMEs who attended the
activity, majority of them representing the agricultural-processing and trading
sectors. Representatives from cooperatives were also in attendance to look into
