DTI Capiz Provincial office held an orientation to 25 pre-selected budding and existing entrepreneurs in the Province of Capiz, as mentees of the Kapatid Mentor Me (KMME) Program.
The KMME is an initiative of the DTI in partnership with the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE) to help the country’s micro and small enterprisesalign their mindset and values, equip them with practical knowledge and strategies, and develop them as future mentors of the program to nurture a community of dynamic, competitive and sustainable MSMEs that is aligned with the government's thrust of inclusive growth.
A successful orientation was conducted early this month at the Negosyo Center Training Room, Sacred Heart of Jesus Blvd., Pueblo de Panay, Roxas City. DTI Capiz Industry Development Division Office-in-Cahrge Eva A. Losanta discussed important details of the program and the rationale behind KMME.
“We are encouraging all of you to take advantage of this opportunity to learn from the insights and strategies of successful entrepreneurs so you can improve your business operations and pass it on to the next generation to ensure sustainability,” Losanta said.
The OIC-IDD Chief gave the orientation on behalf of Provincial Director Ermelinda P. Pollentes who was in an equally important meeting with the Provincial Governor during the time.
